Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is a monthly beauty subscription service that sends 5 or more items ranging from unique cosmetics to luxurious skincare. Best of all, they are 100% cruelty-free and vegan, plus most items are natural and non-toxic! Monthly recurring shipments are $22.95 with free shipping in the USA (there is an additional charge for other countries). This sub is also available in 6 or 12-month terms that do not renew but that do earn you a discount.

The easiest way to discover cruelty-free beauty products without breaking your budget. Each month you’ll receive a delivery of 5 or more new products to try, ranging from unique cosmetics to luxurious skincare.

There was a product information card that gave info on how you can win a free box by sharing your box on social media. Vegan Cuts doesn’t offer customization and sends items that are suitable for almost everyone. They promise not to send foundation or other items that match a specific skin tone and instead send makeup items that are as inclusive as possible with possible variations in shades. They also promise a value of at least $30 but have sent boxes that are significantly above that mark. Vegan Cuts sends deluxe “travel” sized or full-sized products and rarely sends single-use packets.

The flip side of the card listed each item and the retail value. The March 2019 box theme is Beauty In Bloom! Two of the items are bonus items and after having a look around Instagram I noticed that bonus items will vary.

Everything in my box!

BaeBlu Eyeliner ($12.99) is a new-to-me brand and I love discovering new brands! There was a discount code included for a purchase from this brand’s website.

It’s a classic black eye pencil that went on very smoothly. It is very soft and almost smudged when I applied it, perfect for a smokey eye. It stayed put most of the day but by dinnertime I looked in the mirror and it was very smudged. Still, I prefer a pencil liner and this one didn’t drag or pull so I’m pretty happy with it.

Melanie Mills Gleam Lip Radiance High Lip Gloss ($12) Vegan Cuts sent two bonus products and I think this is one of them.

It is a lip gloss and I was worried about the shade at first but I applied it and smoothed it out with a lip brush and it was actually quite wearable with my coloring. I could feel it on my lips but after a while I didn’t notice it and it faded evenly.

Here I have the eye liner swatched on top, the lip gloss full-on on the bottom. I didn’t use that much on my lips though.

Hempz Sensitive Skin Herbal Body Moisturizer ($1.71) I like Hempz body lotions but sometimes the scents are overpowering. This one is meant for sensitive skin and the scent is very subtle, like cinnamon and vanilla. It also has oatmeal to help sooth skin. It was a light-weight lotion, perfect as the weather turns warmer and the need for a heavy coating goes down.

AG Hair Care Coco Nut Milk Conditioning Spray ($9.36) is meant for those with medium to coarse hair and mine is super fine so I will be sharing this with a loved one. Coconut oil, coconut fruit extract, macadamia extract, and mango seed butter are some of the ingredients, which are 98% natural in this product. Spray on hair and style as usual.

Shero Gentle Milk Gel Cleanser ($2.83) I also love trying cleansers. I like to make sure all traces of makeup are off before bed and this one was pretty much the only product I needed for my face (I didn’t use it on my eyes). I have dry skin so I was looking forward to giving this a try. I applied it to my hands (it was hard to get it out of the container, which had no give), got a lather going, the rubbed it around my damp face before rinsing. I thought it was a little too drying for my skin, it felt squeaky clean but that’s not necessarily a good thing at my age. It did get everything off in one go. I used a toner-soaked cotton pad afterwards and didn’t see a trace of makeup.

PiperWai Natural Deodorant ($2.50) Natural deodorants are right up my alley, I like using them on my non-work days and this one was new to me.

Instructions were on the container but you will need to visit the website to see all of the ingredients, which include coconut oil, shea butter, baking soda, and quite an assortment of essential oils.

I scooped a small amount out of the container and rubbed it under my clean armpits. It spread very easily and smelled good, all minty and herbal. It also left a slight cooling effect. I changed my shirt when I got home after running errands and noticed my pits were wet, but then this isn’t an antiperspirant and since I couldn’t smell any BO I guess it worked.

Ellovi Vanilla Lip Butter ($5) It looks like Ellovi has had a makeover so this looks a little different from the version shown online. I believe this is the 2nd bonus item.

It has only 6 ingredients: macadamia butter, shea butter, coconut oil, sunflower seed wax, vanilla oil, and marula oil. It didn’t have much scent or flavor, which is a good thing since I really don’t want perfume on my lips.

Crazy Rumors Lip Balm in Mystery Flavor ($3.49) is the second lip balm in this box so if you are feeling overloaded then I’m sure a friend would appreciate the extra.

Ingredients, with the exception of the flavor used, are listed on the back.

It’s fruity but also a touch nutty and I swear I picked up a bit of anise. What do you think it smells like?

My March Vegan Cuts was pretty good, although two lip balms in one box was a little too much. I really liked the eye liner and was pleasantly surprised with the lip gloss. The deodorant and cleanser worked fine and the body lotion was my favorite product. The only miss for me was the hair product, but I have the finest of hair and never really expect EVERY product in a non-customized box to work for me every time. The value this month was around $49.88!
