BOXYCHARM Premium is a new beauty box offering from BOXYCHARM, joining regular BOXYCHARM and BOXYLUXE. For $35 per month, it sends 6-7 items with 1 item chosen by the subscriber. They also promise $175+ value in every box and no product overlaps.

For more information about the recent BOXYCHARM updates, read this announcement.

The box exterior is black, and the inner is blue.

The items were also cushioned with a bubble wrap.

The January 2020 theme is Breaking The Ice!

The information card lists all the products in the box, together with a brief description.

Everything in my January 2020 BOXYCHARM Premium! There may be variations in the box – see the full spoilers here.

Skinfix Resurface+ Glycolic Renewing Scrub ($30) For those who are suffering from dullness and uneven skin texture, exfoliation is a must to renew and refresh your skin. This scrub is made exactly for that purpose. It contains a blend of glycolic acid and lactic acid, which helps you get rid of dead skin cells and prevent hyperpigmentation.

The formula is also vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten-free. It’s not as harsh as I thought it would be and that’s really a great thing!

FARSÁLI Liquid Glass Radiance Serum ($54) To help us achieve the highly-coveted glass skin, they included this unique serum in the box! It can be applied directly on your skin as a part of your skincare routine, or layered with your makeup for an instant glow. Key ingredients include hydrating hyaluronic acid and acquacell. The formula was light and fast-absorbing, so it really felt like nothing was on the whole time yet my skin was noticeably glowing!

Saint Luxe Beauty Eyeliner Trio – Black, Nude, Gold ($55) We have not just one but three eyeliners in one box! Each of them comes with a black cap to keep the tip of the eyeliner pencil in shape.

They are in black, nude, and gold. All of them are delicate on the skin, gliding smoothly without tugging or irritating. My favorite is the nude one because, when applied, it gives the illusion of wider eyes. It’s also easy to pair with various eyeshadow colors.

Too Faced Sugar Peach Face & Eye Palette ($44) There’s nothing cuter than the packaging of this face and eye palette! I’m loving the peach theme and the gold-colored details!

Made for highlighting, this palette has 4 pearlescent powders, all of which can be used whether wet or dry.

The packaging is sleek and lightweight. At the bottom, there’s a label with more details about the product.

The shades are labeled accordingly. From the upper left, there’s Peach Pearl, Sugared Peach, Peachy Honey, and Peach Pop!

I love how creamy and buttery these shades are! Their formula is seriously the best. Blending them is not a problem, and they even stay on for a long time without making my face feel heavy and greasy.

There’s also an accordion booklet that shares various makeup looks that you can achieve using the palette.

Aside from the gorgeous photos, there are also easy-to-follow instructions for achieving each look. This is really going to be useful, especially for makeup newbies.

Billion Dollar Brows & Beauty Best Sellers Kit ($42) Maintaining on-fleek brows is quite a challenge, but not when you have a complete brow kit like this one. They put all the must-have brow products together to solve our brow problems!

The back of the packaging lists all the products in the kit, including a universal brow pencil, brow duo pencil, smudge brush, and clear brow gel.

Here’s everything in the kit! They’re all compact and easy to bring anywhere, even during your travels.

First up is the universal brow pencil in a dark brown shade that works with most skin tones and hair colors.

It applies smoothly and it appears natural!

On the other end of the pencil is a spoolie. This wand-style brush helps you keep your brow hairs in order.

Next up is a brow highlighter and concealer in one stick! The highlighter is great for adding definition, and the concealer works well for covering blemishes.

This smudge brush is another useful tool if you want to keep your brows on fleek. It’s lightweight and definitely easy to handle.

It has delicate brushes ideal for blending your brow highlighter and concealer.

Lastly, we got a clear brow gel for the finishing touch! It comes with a wand applicator and I love that the formula is flake-free!

KAT VON D Lolita Eyeshadow ($19) This eyeshadow shade is said to be inspired by Kat Von D’s popular chestnut rose lipstick. It has a matte formula and it’s vegan and cruelty-free. The one in my box arrived damaged though.

I reached out to their customer service and they told me that they have run out of stock of the replacements and gave me 1900 Charms to replace the value that’s missing. This is really a bummer and I wish they’d plan better. Then again – it’s sort of a hard color to pull off on the eyes – maybe it’s for the best!!

With high-value items and a nice variety, there’s no doubt BOXYCHARM Premium is worthy of the upgrade from the regular box. My favorite in this month’s box is the palette and the brow kit. Both are easy to use and they also make great everyday makeup essentials – I love that it’s not just fun shadow. The total retail value is $244, way more than the cost of the box! Aside from the damaged item, this is clearly a perfect curation. Still, I appreciate their immediate action regarding the issue and that they gave an alternative when they ran out of replacements. I hope it won’t happen again especially as the Charm Room doesn’t really have anything I’m looking for, but it’s hard to be really upset – this box is only $35!

This month’s Boxy Premium was filled with products for which I had no use at all and had to throw away. I cancelled. Their customer service sucks dead bears.
