Target Beauty Box comes out once a month and you have to grab them up because they go quickly! Each box is around $7 although this one is currently on sale for $5. Make sure to sign up here to get notified when future boxes go on sale and keep in mind that this is a one-time purchase and not an ongoing subscription.

FYI – the January boxes are currently available, along with the December box for men!

My products came in a cute box and were wrapped in tissue paper. I like that the boxes are decorated and I even use them to store beauty products and stationery.

Hello Flawless Beauty Finds! This month is all about products that you can rely on to keep you looking your best.

The product information card listed the products included in the box and a little info about each item. There was a coupon for a purchase in-store or online to save $3 when you make a $15+ beauty purchase.

One item was wrapped in heavy-duty tape to avoid leaks.

Everything in my box! There’s products for the face and body and even a makeup item!

Love Beauty & Planet Relaxing Deodorant ($6.99) I really wanted to love this product. I have tried several natural deodorants and they are sometimes hard to roll on, but this one glided so smoothly that I wasn’t sure it was actually going on. I know it did go on because I could smell it for the next couple of hours, it was very perfumey. It smells like lavender perfume, and not real lavender.

I went to change my shirt before leaving the house and as I was changing I could tell that the deodorant was not working. I gave it a couple of days but it didn’t work well for me. I know some people are sensitive to baking soda in natural deodorants so if that is a concern for you then please note that this does contain baking soda.

Schmidt’s Activated Charcoal Tooth+Mouth Paste ($0.79) I have tried charcoal toothpastes in the past and must say I liked this one better than most, simply because it didn’t leave black splatters all over my sink! It had a nice minty taste and worked well enough. It doesn’t have fluoride, which some people avoid, but I prefer a fluoride toothpaste myself.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil ($1.66) During one of my pregnancies I bought some Palmer’s Cocoa Butter to help with stretch marks and couldn’t stand the smell. For years I avoided anything with cocoa butter and was surprised when I finally started using natural cocoa butter because it has quite a pleasant scent. When I tried this oil I discovered it smelled the same as all those years ago and after reading the ingredients I discovered this has fragrance in it, which to me is overwhelming. It smells like low quality Hershey Kisses! I also discovered that the main ingredient is actually canola oil. It also has sesame seed oil and argan oil. I used it right after a shower, when my skin was still damp.

Garnier Skin Active Micellar Cleansing Water ($1.23) I already use a similar product every night to remove my eye makeup and love it! This one will come in handy on trips, when I don’t want to haul around the bigger bottle. I apply it to a damp cotton pad (like the one shown below) and then place it against my eyes, wait a few seconds, then swipe my makeup off. You can also use it on your face. I know they say it doesn’t feel greasy or leave a residue but I disagree, which is why I follow with a quick pass with a damp washcloth.

Up & Up Premium Cotton Rounds ($0.06) Again, I use this product every single evening. I use one cotton pad to remove eye makeup and I use a fresh one to wipe toner over my face on the days I use a toner. I use both sides of the pads on my eyes, and they are soft and do the job!

Maybelline Master Precise All Day Liquid Liner ($3.52) is a bit smaller than the ones for sale online (.02fl oz vs .034 fl oz). It is in classic black but they also offer a brown or blue shade too.

It felt a little funny to put on, like I was rubbing my eyes with a sponge!

Here it is swatched on my arm! In general I’m not a fan of liquid liners and although this one had a fine line it wasn’t the best at staying put.

Method Body Pure Peace Body Wash ($1.32) I love to use body washes on a shower pouf and this one worked beautifully! I squeezed it on and it lathered well and rinsed clean away without irritation. The scent was a warm floral and it faded quickly, just as I prefer.

Target always sends a good variety of products and while they may not always work out for me, I have discovered new brands and favorites thanks to this subscription. The value for this box was around $15.57, which is great for a box that is now selling for $5! Plus, there is that $3 off coupon for a store or online purchase, so that brings my personal value up a little more!
