We Craft Box is a craft subscription for kids. Each box comes with a themed story to inspire your children, and 2 to 3 prepared kids crafts with multiple blanks so parents or siblings can craft along. All materials are included (with the exception of scissors).

The box’s contents look colorful!
The box is filled with all sorts of crafty items and we’re excited to use them all!
Every box includes an information card with a message from the curator of the box. At the back, there’s a lovely poem that describes this month’s featured activities. This is certainly a super fun and engaging way to start the craft.
Also included is an instruction guide, supported by images of the steps.
We have a total of four activities in store for us.
All the materials needed are included in the box.
We got stickers from the box!
There’s also a sheet of Pipstickers from Pipsticks, which features adorable sloths!
The back of the sticker sheet comes with a sticker manifesto. It says that stickers can change the world!
#1: Super Snake Finger Puppets
The first activity requires some cut-out snakes, a black pencil, and a watercolor paint set and paintbrush.
The paint set has 12 vibrant colors!
The kids started painting the snakes with their own choice of colors.
You can also add details to them using a black pencil.
The snakes are colorful! My kids even added some facial features on each of them. And look at the snakes’ long tongues sticking out!
#2 Make It Rain – Rain Sticks
Many cultures used rain sticks in summoning rain, as the instrument mimics the sound of it. For this project, we used some pipe cleaners, tubes, caps, washi tape, and rice grains!
To make the rain sticks, get a tube and plug one end with a cap. You can now fill it with bent pipe cleaners and some ric grains.
They also did the same thing to the second tube. They plugged the open end with another cap and tried if the tubes make a sound.
It’s time to decorate the sticks using the watercolor paint set!
They made each stick as colorful as the rainbow!
They added some patterns using the black pencil and the washi tape!
#3 Lottie The Ocelot Mask
This box is really colorful with all these projects that we only need to add colors to. For the Ocelot masks, we just need to grab our paintbrushes and the watercolor paint set, and start with these mask cut-outs, complete with elastics that will hold them in place when worn!
Ocelots are small wild cats with solid black spots, streaks, and stripes. For this project, the kids can paint the masks however they want.
It doesn’t matter if the projects are messy, as long as the kids are enjoying! I love watching them showcase their creativity!
They ended up with festive looking masks!
#4 Rumbling Rainforest Setup
Lastly, we’ll make our rumbling rainforest! And for this one, we’ll need some green tissue papers, scenery strips, black paper, a white crayon, and some metallic strips.
First thing we did to our rainforest is we painted the scenery strips using the watercolor set.
The palm trees look nice as my kids mixed shades of green for its leaves.
We made the volcano by tracing its shape on the black paper using the white crayon. Then we added lava by sticking the red metallic strips on its back, right on the tip.
We placed the volcano on the cloud background.
We added the scenery strips just in front of the volcano and used the sloth stickers for more details.
The sloths look like they’re having fun! We ended up using all the sloth stickers.
And here’s our rambling rainforest all set-up on the craft box!
We also used the green tissue papers and placed them inside the box, then the forest picture on top. The green tissue served as the forest’s floor.
Here are all the completed projects for this month’s We Craft Box! They’re all looking amazing!
This time, the box took us to a wonderful rainforest! Among the projects this month, we enjoyed building the rambling rainforest along with the scenery cut-outs and the volcano! The addition of the metallic strip made the volcano look more majestic. We also love the rain sticks, we finally have something to use to summon the rain. The Ocelot masks are amazing and they’re looking really festive as well, so as the snake finger puppets! I love seeing my kids enjoy, and at the same time, hone their creativity and talents through this box!
FYI, if you’re wondering, my oldest son is about to turn 9, and he LOVES this box!
