I like the product info cards that Pearlesque provides, they give a brief snapshot into the featured brand, which for August is Rosemira Organics:

Rosemira creates environmentally and ethically conscious holistic formulations. Our products are 98% organic, and 90% vegan based. They are never tested on animals and do not contain alcohol, additives or preservatives. Rosemira’s potent formulations are artfully combined to provide results that are driven by the quality of our ingredients.

The back of the introductory card listed each product, its retail value, and how to use each item. I like that Pearlesque also includes their own #pearltip for the products.

Presentation is extremely minimal with this box. The outside of the box is plain and the inside has wadded up paper to keep the items from shifting.

Everything in my August 2019 Pearlesque Box! The brand, Rosemira, is new to me and I am always excited to discover new brands, let’s see what is in this month’s box!

Rose Mira Organics Organic Pink Grapefruit Argan Oil ($30) First of all let me just say how happy I was to find a product for the body in the August box! The oil can also be used in hair but I am going to be using it strictly as a post-shower skin softener.

It only has two ingredients – argan oil and pink grapefruit essential oil. You can place a drop or two on the scalp for a massge or run a bit through ends of hair. I applied it to damp skin and was so happy with this oil since it didn’t leave behind an overly greasy feel and the scent was lovely and faded quickly, as a natural scent should do. I would like to remind you to be careful if you plan on going in the sun for an extended amount of time since citrus oils may make skin more sensitive to the sun.

Rose Mira Organics Citrus Melody Balancing Toner ($41) So many times when I see toner I know it’s going to have drying alcohol or witch hazel (which is often distilled in alcohol). Nope, not here, only plant hydrosols, water, and essential oils!

One way to use this delightfully sunny scented toner is to spray it directly on your face (with eyes closed of course) and then gently massage into skin, followed by moisturizer or serum. I sprayed it onto a cotton pad and then wiped it on my face to remove all traces of makeup. You can also spray it on during the day for a refreshing note of aromatherapy – it smells like citrus blossoms or orange water!

Rose Mira Citrus Blossom I-Restore Eye Cream ($42) Our final product is an eye cream and it continues our citrus scented collection.

Jojoba oil, aloe, and citrus essential oils are joined by beeswax, lanolin, and pearl powder.

You may want to apply after using the toner from above – just spray fingers with toner, gently pat around eye area, and then follow with the eye cream.

I was worried the cream would be strongly scented or irritate my eye area but so far, so good and the scent is very light. The feel was a little odd at first, it didn’t rub straight in like traditional cream but eventually it did and it left the area moisturized.

I was extremely pleased with the Rosemira products that I found in my August Pearlesque Box! I am not always a fan of citrus oils in beauty products but these did not seem overly strong in that area so I feel safer using them. Of course, make sure to keep up with SPF to avoid a burn! I thought the products felt rich and luxurious and they were packaged in glass jars, which I also prefer for natural beauty products. They smelled amazing and not over the top, they were just right. As for the value, the items were worth around $113! I hope to see this brand in future boxes!

FYI: The September box will feature items from Dirty Lamb!
