BeautyFIX is a monthly subscription box from Dermstore that sends you the latest skin care, hair care, and makeup products for $24.95 a month (or $34.95 for a one-time purchase). They feature full and travel-sized products and promise the box will contain at least $100 worth of items. Everyone receives the same products, although makeup colors or scents may differ, but at least you will know what you’re getting if you decide to purchase the box after you see the contents.

TIP: You can subscribe to BeautyFIX and receive this exact box – it’s usually available all the way through the end of the month!

The theme this month is Au Naturale.

If you want to purchase the full-size items, you can visit Dermstore’s online shop and save up to 20% by using the provided code. Offer ends on the last day of April 2018.

The product information card includes each item’s name with a short description. They switched it up, along with a new box design, to be all on one sheet.

The packaging looks good!

Everything in the April box!

Skyn Iceland Hydro-Cool Firming Eye Gels ($3.75) I’m always excited to use these cooling under eye gel patches because they feel great on the skin. Aside from the relaxing effect, they also help tone and de-puff delicate undereye skin within minutes. When you don’t get enough sleep at night and you have to go somewhere important in the morning, you have to have a quick fix like this.

This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray (97¢) It’s a teeny travel sized pillow spray, perfect for inducing sleep. You can spray it on pillows to calm your nerves and have a good night’s rest. This doesn’t work as effectively as a sleeping medicine and I don’t expect it to. It just sets up your mood and makes it easier for you to sleep.

It has a calming scent of lavender and chamomile but it fades after a couple of minutes. It doesn’t stain the linen or the pillowcase. This is a great good night routine and pretty much everyone in my family loves using it.

Hum Nutrition Tahitian Vanilla Beauty Food ($1.28) This superfood powder promises to make your skin radiant, support digestion, and boost your energy. To use, just add it to water or any other drink you’re having. This box only has one sachet and to get full results, the powder has to be taken on a regular basis. I can, however, tell you that it tastes tolerable. We prefer to mix it with milk or even better – use in a full-on smoothie.

Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer ($70) We love full-size Juice Beauty! Combining the power of antioxidants, hydrating fruit stem cells and vitamin C, this cream offers both moisturizing and age-defying effects.

It has a pleasant smell, plus it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin at all. I also like the mattifying effect if leaves my skin.

While I haven’t noticed any difference in my fine lines yet, it did brighten up my skin. It provided enough moisture and prevented my skin from being flaky or patchy.

Before I forget, it does look weird at first but it’s a press top and it’s easy to use. You can also unscrew this if you want to see what’s left of the container.

Pacifica Sea Foam Complete Wash (95¢) From the packaging itself, this foam wash seems hip and refreshing. Its main ingredient is coconut water, which helps cleanse, tone, and moisturize the skin. It’s a bit drying, but it does clean the skin well.

The Organic Pharmacy Enzyme Peel Mask ($9.87) This is an exclusive product for salons and now we can buy it online. Its key ingredients are lactobionic acid, lemon, pineapple, acal, goji, and sodium hyaluronate. It works just like other peel masks and it’s effective in clearing out my skin. It has a refreshing smell and I like that it is not messy because it is inside the tube. It instantly brightens and removes the little bumps and impurities of my skin!

Tammy Fender Intensive Repair Balm  ($38.23 using ounces, $52.55 using g) I love the simple packaging. The balm is a concoction of chamomile, shea butter, and emulsifying wax. It aims to hydrate and calm inflamed skin and to supply deep moisture.

As expected, the consistency of this product is quite thick. I don’t suggest that you use it for regular daytime use because it is very sticky. You can leave it on your skin overnight. It definitely made my skin soft and moisturized quickly. I haven’t tested this for acne or inflammation but so far it does great with making your skin soft and supple. The only thing that bothers me is the wild variation between the grams/ounces (19g = 0.67 oz, we used the ounces for the final value).

Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream ($11.73) This cream suits any skin type and offers solutions for dark spots, dryness, and wrinkles. Its ingredients include highly purified alpha arbutin, papaya enzymes, two forms of hyaluronic acid, and tamarind extract.

It gets absorbed by the skin pretty quickly and leaves a very light feeling. I love that it feels like I have nothing on my face, yet I can feel that it improved in terms of smoothness and softness. It provided enough moisture and can be applied before makeup. This is a summertime grail item for me, what a win!

BeautyFix did it again! I’m impressed with the variety and quality of the items, and I just love that I can get a 20% off if I wanted to get the full-size version of the products from Dermstore.com. Plus, the total value was about $137 and nothing seemed weirdly overpriced. It’s best to start any beauty routine with glowing skin and this is an ideal box for people who love skin care and like to test out luxury products without breaking the bank.
