The August Theme was Summer Mixtape!
Right off the bat, I could tell there was a bit of a throwback theme.

Rubiks Cube Stress Cube ($8.47)
Awkward Family Photos Postcards ($7.71)
The classic Rubik’s cube (admit it, you’ve tried moving the decals to complete one of these), but much less stressful because it’s a squishy stress toy! Plus, a compilation postcard booklet of awkward family photos. The Rubik’s cube made it to Brandy’s desk (very few things make it there) so I’d say it was a winner!
Each awe shucks moment is a glossy postcard ready for sharing via snail mail.
A Coaster of Kings ($5?) For those of us who picked up on the Westerosi saga only after it became an HBO series, these aren’t really a throwback. They are pretty cool, though. Flowing watercolor designs capture stylized portions of the seals of the great houses Stark, Lannister, Baratheon, and Targaryen.
Who You Gonna Call? Shirt ($15) The Ghostbusters have amazing staying power, and they are one of the latest classic hits to be eyed for remake. This Tee captures the likeness of the original team and it’s pretty awesome. Fortunately this box is set to my size for the shirt!
Ghostbusters Containment Unit Lunch Box & Plush Slimer ($25?) The iconic mobile containment unit comes pre-inhabited with the unofficial mascot of the Ghostbusters. The case is metal and sized like an ammo box, but much lighter, and is decorated on all sides. The Slimer plush is soft and big enough to toss around.
This is really a great item – amusing, fun, and unique!

We really had fun with this box – excellent theme, excellent (and funny) items! Can’t wait for September already though – it looks like it will be fantastic!
