Kloverbox is a unique natural and cruelty-free beauty and lifestyle subscription box delivering the purest in beauty, nutrition, health, and home essentials. It is $25 a month and is available in 1, 3, or 6-month terms. The 1 and 3-month subs automatically renew until canceled.

DEAL: Save 10% on your whole subscription with coupon code HS10!

The information card contained a list of all the items in the box and everything was neatly tucked in between brown and pink paper squiggles. Kloverbox provides coupon codes for some of the items so if you fall in love with a product or want to discover a new item from a particular brand you can save some dough!

Cypress Skin Care Foot Love ($20) is a foot oil that features organic almond, coconut, jojoba, and castor oils with a bit of peppermint essential oil to help your tired tootsies feel refreshed at the end of the day. I wore socks so I wouldn’t slip but the oils were absorbed pretty quickly on my hands.

Wrenn Jewelry The Becki Studs in Rose Druzy ($26) I used to have pierced ears but I had so many reactions to earrings, no matter the material, that I stopped wearing them and the holes are now closed, so I passed these along to my daughter who LOVES them!

These earrings are simple, stylish, and classy.

The Isle Co. Soy Lotion Candle in Love Struck ($14.99 $11.25) smells so good and is inspired by Love Spell from Victoria’s Secret but I think it smells like berry fruit punch. You simply burn the candle for a short time to get a little puddle of soybean oil and then extinguish the flame and “take a dip” into the warm oil and spread it on your hands or body. It was pretty oily and the scent is very strong but it’s also sweet and romantic, perfect for this month! The scent was so strong that I reached out to The Isle Co. to find out what it was scented with, as it doesn’t smell like essential oils and it does smell like a typical perfume.

The ‘Love Struck’ fragranced Soy Lotion Candle you received in your Kloverbox is our version of the popular ‘Love Spell’ fragrance by Victoria Secret.

At The Isle Co. we only use the purest ingredients in our soy lotion candles and they contain no additives or dyes.   Our Soy is 100% pure soy oil.  Our fragrances are made with a blend of natural and synthetic fragrances to ensure a proper burning candle.  Many natural fragrances in their pure form can either ‘clog’ the wick, or are so fragile they ‘burn off’ in the production.    We only use fragrances that are approved for skin use and we make sure to use them only in the appropriate skin-safe amount.

Rose & Basil Vegan Truffles ($1.45 each) are made with natural and organic ingredients and are very tasty.

The Sesame Seed Truffle was covered in white chocolate and had a tahini paste inside and tasted like marzipan. The Cayenne Pepper Truffle was covered in dark chocolate and had pear jam in the middle. Both truffles were delicious but the cayenne one was also very spicy. I liked them both!

I am always in a hurry to open this box because they send the neatest items! I wasn’t expecting earrings in an organic beauty box but my daughter loves them, I loved the truffles and foot oil, and I can never have too many candles. This month’s box had a value of $60.15, more than double the price paid for the subscription.

I have mixed feeling about this month’s Kloverbox. The Feb box is popular with subscribers and has created excitement around the Kloverbox brand. This is a good direction for Kloverbox.

However, I was disappointed in the box. I do not wear earrings and was disappointed that the soy candle does not contain organic soy. I would not care if I was burning it, except it is a lotion candle. It is estimated that over 90% of soybean crop is GMO. That doesn’t fit Kloverbox’s values in my eyes. I canceled my subscription and have three months left. I’ll renew if the boxes work out for me.

In full disclosure, we grow orgnaic soybeans. Farmers know that you have to buy organic soybean seed if you want non-gmo soybean seed.

Anna, thank you for your insight on the soybeans! I thought it was a cute box for Valentine’s but I certainly see your point. I wasn’t a fan of the candle because it was overly “perfume” scented and I don’t have pierced ears either. They do mention that they may send “lifestyle” items and perhaps they will receive feedback on whether or not this is what subscribers want. Personally, I prefer the healthy cleaning products or reusable items I’ve received in previous boxes plus natural body care myself!
